“Hey, what should we do for our first anniversary?” the one question that started the impromptu trip to gangwon-do. Booked the train and hotel the night before, didn’t want to miss the renowned hani lavender festival. The one event we kept on missing for numerous times, yet it felt surreal when we actually catch it. It was such a lovely sight. We asked other visitors to take our pic. We barely took pictures together, but this one is an exception. I mean, the soft purple even stretched to the road leading to this place. Truly magical… I really cannot wait to go back there. I keep recalling that moment with hani lavender series on my hair. Hoping the memories of us never fade.”
